Terms of Service
This is a placeholder, not a contract.
It lists the sections most SaaS terms need, so you know what to cover. It has not been written or reviewed by a lawyer and it binds nobody. Replace it entirely before you launch.
Sections you will need
- Who the agreement is between, and when it takes effect
- What the service is, and what you do not promise
- Account eligibility, security, and termination
- Acceptable use, and what happens when it is breached
- Payment terms — this template bills in prepaid credits, so cover whether they expire, whether they are refundable, and what happens to unused credits on cancellation
- Ownership of user content, and the licence you need to operate
- AI-generated output — who owns it, and what you warrant about its accuracy (worth being specific: this template runs user input through a third-party model)
- Warranties, disclaimers, and limitation of liability
- Changes to the service and to these terms
- Governing law and dispute resolution
